Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Oasis Creative Labs LLC (“Oasis”, “we”). They cover this website, buying our plugins, and the plugins themselves. Section 5 is the software licence (the End User Licence Agreement).

You accept these terms when you buy a plugin or install our software. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

If you are a consumer, nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

• Checkout runs on Shopify. Prices are shown there, including or plus applicable taxes as stated. Your purchase is confirmed when you receive the order email.
• A valid email address is required at checkout: your licence key and the download link for your installer are sent to it. Keep that email; it is how you reinstall later. If you lose it, write to info@oasiscreativelabs.com from the same address and we will resend it.
• There are no customer accounts and nothing to sign in to. Your email address and your key are your proof of purchase.
• If a price was shown in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
• You must be at least 16 to buy, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.

A licence that does not expire. Each plugin is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, renewals or instalments.

Bundles. A bundle is one purchase that covers the plugins listed for it when you buy. The Trim-Series Bundle comes with a key for each of TrimMachine, TrimDelay and TrimVerb; the Trim-Suite Bundle is one key for all six plugins. We may add plugins to a bundle; we won’t remove a plugin from a bundle you have already bought.

Free licences. We sometimes give licences away, for example for reviews or promotions. They may be time-limited, as stated when we give them.

All sales are final. Our plugins are digital products delivered straight away, so we don’t give refunds.

• Our mistakes: if we charged you twice or charged the wrong amount, email info@oasiscreativelabs.com and we will put it right.
• Your legal rights: nothing here limits rights the law gives you that can’t be waived, for example if a plugin is faulty or not as described.
• Anything else: a refund is given only if we review your request and approve it. To ask, email info@oasiscreativelabs.com and tell us why. The decision is ours, made case by case, and approving one request does not entitle you or anyone else to another.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, its licence ends and the key stops working.

EU and UK consumers: by completing your purchase you ask for immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that this ends the 14-day right of withdrawal once the download link or key has been delivered. Our mistakes are still put right as described above, and your statutory rights are not affected.

• You activate a plugin by entering your key in it. The plugin contacts our licence server once to check the key and register the computer; after that it works offline.
• Each licence key activates up to 3 computers that you own or control (TrimMachine: 2).
• To move a plugin to a new computer, or if an activation fails, email info@oasiscreativelabs.com from the address you bought with.
• If we ever stop running the activation service, we will first give you a way to keep using the plugins you bought without it.

Our plugins are licensed to you, not sold. We, and our licensors, keep all rights to the software that aren’t granted below.

What you may do. While your licence is valid, you may install and use the software on up to 3 computers that you own or control (2 for TrimMachine), for any personal or commercial music and audio work.

Your music is yours. We claim no rights in audio you make with our plugins. You owe us no royalties, and you can release, sell and license it as you like.

What you may not do. Except where the law allows it regardless of these terms, you may not:

• share, sell, rent, lend or sublicense the software or your key;
• get around, disable or tamper with licence checks or activation;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software;
• use the software, its sounds or its outputs to build a competing product, including training machine-learning models to imitate it;
• remove copyright or licence notices.

Transfers. Licences can’t be transferred to someone else, except that we may allow a transfer if you ask us at info@oasiscreativelabs.com.

Open-source parts. The software includes components used under their own licences, which apply to those components. The notices ship with the plugins and are available on request from info@oasiscreativelabs.com.

When the licence ends. A licence ends when a purchase is refunded or charged back, or if you seriously breach this section. Then you must stop using the software, and its key will no longer activate.

We may release updates that fix problems or add features, and they are free for your licence while it is valid. We don’t promise any particular update, and a future major version may be sold as a separate product or paid upgrade.

Trim-Suite Bundle. If you bought the bundle, every future version of the six bundled plugins is free, including major versions, for as long as we sell or support those plugins. That is the “lifetime updates” the bundle is sold with. The paid upgrade rule above applies to single-plugin purchases and to anything else.

We aim to support current versions of Windows and macOS but can’t guarantee compatibility with every system or music application.

Don’t misuse the site or our services: no attempts to break in, overload them, scrape them, or get around download limits. We may cancel keys involved in fraud, chargeback abuse or sharing licences, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

We make our software with care, but it is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be error-free or suit every purpose, so keep backups of your projects.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or projects, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

None of this limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer (for example, under consumer law in the EU or UK, digital content must be as described and fit for purpose).

We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top when we do. Because there are no accounts, this page is where changes are announced. Changes never take away a licence you already bought.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
